I am a New York City-born and based artist and animator with over 20 years of professional experience creating visual content for clients including HBO, MTV, ESPN, CNN, Apple, Disney and Google. My work has appeared in Rolling Stone, The New York Times, The Huffington Post, the 2019 Slamdance Film Festival and the permanent collection of the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art in SoHo. In the mid-aughts, I storyboarded award-winning music videos for Primus, J-Dilla and My Morning Jacket.

My art is informed by NYC fashion and street culture, humor, dramatic storytelling, and playful weirdness.

Fun facts: Tavet means “David” in Estonian. 🇪🇪
I make lo-fi pop music as Mistur Whiskers. I am a cat. 😸
