"Noise" Matte Painting Test

Matte painting test for Henry Bean's upcoming film Noise, 2007

The goal was to create a skyline reminicent of an old comic-book machine, mechanical but not slick or high-tech. All of the images came from random Flickr pages - I cut the buildings along their seams, matched their perspective to the perspective of the live-action shot (not pictured), then added light and color in Photoshop.
